The shrimp take longer to cook than the instructions indicate, and in that time the asparagus gets soggy and falls apart. The rice stuck to the bottom of the pot, burnt, and had to be scraped off, and were still undercooked. The shrimp I got were not shelled. We threw out the entire thing after taking one bite.
This meal was just ok. Portions were small as well.
Cooking seafood is not my strength but the instructions were so easy to follow and the meal came out fab. Do double check for shrimps' tails. There portions were generous and there was plenty to go around.
I didn't even get beyond cooking the shrimp, There were so many sand veins - so gross. And sauteeing frozen shrimp just turns them tough and basically boils them in their own liquid. I wound up tossing this meal and making another one.
really nice mix of spices plus the shrimp cooked perfectly. loved the crunchy cashews on top too!
