My family absolutely loved this meal. My only complaint is that I got a burn notice and had to open the IP, scrape up the burned bits, add some water and restart. Nest time I am adding some additional water to the bottom. The veggies tasted fire roasted and even my picky eater loved them. I wish there was a baby back rib option, they are less fatty and meatier.
Received our SupperUp order! It was so easy to make and delicious! We really enjoyed it!
To begin with the fact that I needed a boiler pan should have been on the list of things I would need. I look at supper up meals to be completely made in the instant pot and would have liked a heads up. Also on the things you will need you include a spoon but left off a pan?
I am used to slow cooker spareribs where the fat has completely come off them. I am not used to all that fat and it really wasn't for me. The corn medley was good. The backed beans were great! The baked beans were definitely the star of the show!! Sadly this meal was disappointing and not up to the standard and taste I have come to expect from supperup.
The ribs were cooked well and the sauce was very tasty. However, the ribs had a lot of fat on them and it was difficult to get the sauce caramelized without burning on the broiler. The beans were excellent!
